Ritualist Arrested with human parts from grave in lagos

A 53-year old man, Rasaq Dosa, may likely face murder charge after he was caught with human parts which he claimed that he stole from a cemetery in Lagos.

The suspected ritualist was apprehended at the popular Atan Cemetery located in Yaba, Lagos.

He was caught after he went to the cemetery at night,

exhumed the body of someone buried there, took the skull and escaped.

However, unknown to Dosa there had been instances of complaint over missing corpses and the management fortified security at the cemetery that eventually accosted him and found him with the human skull.
He was later Paraded along with his accomplices. PM Express reports that he was accused of killing the person he was found with the skull and handed over to the police at SCIID Panti, for investigation over alleged murder. But Dosa denied ever killing any person and confessed that he only went to the cemetery to steal the skull for spiritual purposes.
The police did not believe him and he was charged before the Ebute Metta Magistrates Court for being in possession of a human part. The prosecutor, Inspector Adams, informed the court that Dosa was found with the human part.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. A.O. Kolamofe, remanded him and others in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to DPP for advice.
However, it was gathered that Dosa may face murder charge because he was unable to convince the police that he did not kill the victim he had his skull when he was arrested.
